Bizhub C35 Output Tray Full error

I'm not sure how many Konica Minolta Bizhub C35 are left around the place but I came across an old one that wouldn't print because it had an error that the output tray was full. The problem was that there was nothing in the output tray.
A quick look on the floor and I found the output tray sensor arm.
Someone had been rough getting their printing out of the tray and broke the sensor arm at the front of the machine. Without the arm the sensor flag does not sit in the correct position and the machine constantly thinks that the tray is full and prevents printing.

The correct thing to do is to find a new sensor arm, remove left side, rear and MFP board covers, remove the ADF and scanner bed and control panel, remove the output tray, take out the cooling ducts and fans, fuser and then remove the exit assembley before disassembling the exit assembly and replacing the sensor arm. But what if you don't have another senor arm?
Once you have taken off the output tray the Output Tray Full Sensor is visible behind the control panel area and can be unplugged. If the sensor is unplugged the machine thinks the tray is empty and will allow printing.
If you are really lazy you could just remove the control panel and the 3 yellow wires for the senor are visible in the wire harness underneath. You could cut them without disassembling anything else. But that would be a really lazy way to do it.
